Summary:
Main tasks are new loan verification and new loan bookings as well as data reporting and uploading needs of the dept.
Will be expected to work on moderately complex tasks and will require basic analytical abilities.
Collaborate with CDP-IL Doc Prep and Consumer Production and Mortgage Processing team on addressing any loan approval and documentation inconsistencies to ensure the best solution for Centier Bank.
The specialist has a limited amount of latitude for decision making to cure any inconsistencies.
Throughout the day, this person is also responsible for internal and external customer service inquiries through the phone, emails and in person.
This person will be responsible for completing the following tasks.
New loan verification and booking:
Reviewing and verifying all new loan booking core information input previous day by the booking team for Mortgage, Installment, RVC and TRIAD loans.
Ensure all corrections needed have been successfully completed.
Will be fully trained on all types of loan bookings in order to identify missing or erroneous input items.
Assist as needed to book Mortgage, Installment, RVC's, and Triad Loans to CSI core system including setting up escrow accounts if applicable.
Associate is required to identify, select, and apply the most appropriate procedures and templates to ensure accuracy of information input into the CSI core system Vault file prep back-up -Responsible for verifying signed mortgage closing documents are accurately and legibly scanned into Center Doc.
Then preparing a Mortgage Pending File to be secured in the locked down area of the vault for safe keeping.
Also responsible for insuring the Recorded Mortgages have been received, scanned into Center Doc accurately, secured in the locked down area of the vault and updating the Core system to reflect the date these documents were received.
Working closely with the mortgage department to ensure the documents are scanned into Encompass and have moved into Center Doc accurately and legibly.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Daily Primary Printing all New Loan Reports From CSI Print Check-in screens for each loan that was booked the previous day Check in verification for new ML/ IL/Triad and HELOC loans.
Reviewing and verifying the information for accuracy input by the loan bookers the previous day of all Mortgage, Installment, RVC, and TRIAD loans and initial off on new loan/renewed loan booked report to be given to person responsible for securing input verification reports Book all types of IL, RVC, TRIAD, 1st and 2nd Mortgage loans when needed.
Produce, print, and mail Welcome Letters Writing, updating, and testing procedures as needed.
Daily Secondary Tear Down New Installment Loan Files and create a label for each file Filing of all Notes and mortgages for M/L Files Monitors the Recorded Mortgages and Modification Agreements to verify received and scanned into Center Doc Back up for Tax file prep as needed Projects assigned as needed Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required for this position:
Use and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is a must Understanding of CSI (or other bank host system) and how it works with the Loans System Knowledge of NuPoint and Treev programs a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and accurate data entry/typing skills.
Ability to work through doc errors and communicate same to Doc Prep teams.
Highly detailed and ability to prioritize tasks.
Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently following procedures.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School Diploma 1 year of loan servicing or other loan related experience or 2 years of office experience Loan Documentation knowledge is a plus.
Work Environment:
