The incumbent hired will represent Regional Care Group network on official communications.
Regional Health Systems is Northwest Indiana's largest provider of community-based mental health care, primary health care and addiction treatment services.
We offer adults and children--both uninsured and insured--integrated care through our community mental health center and federally qualified health center.
Regional Health Systems is a member of the Regional Care Group.
Position Purpose:
To supervise a clinical department, including program planning service, program evaluation and clinical and administrative supervision of staff.
This position may also provide direct clinical services.
This position is responsible for and may provide support for new initiatives.
This position will oversee DCS referrals and cases, Juvenile Justice Referrals and case staffing, and child and family team meetings.
The manager will oversee community, DCS referrals and cases, Juvenile Justice Referrals and cases staffing, child and family team meetings and staffing cases with Family Preservation as well as direct care staff.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of Family Preservation staff as it relates to casework, service standards, community engagement and productivity standards as well as ensuring all evidence-based practices are being utilized.
The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing any new state initiatives that pertain to Family Preservation services.
This is included, but not limited to the implementation and ongoing facilitation of such initiatives.
The Program Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining the caseloads of each team he/she is assigned.
This includes but is not limited to the Program Supervisor maintaining a caseload of 3-5 with productivity standard.
It is imperative that the lines of communication between DCS/Juvenile Probation and the Family Preservation staff are fluent due to the nature of the cases.
The collaboration between this position, the Clinical Director of Child Services and Chief Clinical Officer/Vice President of Regional Health Systems will be key to the DCS relationship.

Ongoing best practices for staff involving case management.

Court observation for staff as it relates to testimony.
3.
Team Meeting observation and facilitation.
4.
Ensure referrals are properly assigned, and appropriate resources are put in place.
5.
Responsible for ensuring the 24-hour crisis plan/hotline is being utilized properly.
Essential Function:
Referral, Liaison, Marketing functions, if applicable Screen individuals for appropriateness of admissions to residential services and terminate clients as appropriate.
Ensure all employees complete clinical documentation timely and accurately.
Administrative Supervision of Staff Medication Monitoring/Annual trainings Case Coordination Trainer/lead responsibilities Admission assessment of clients based on psychiatric and addiction needs.
Requirements:
Education:
MSW, MA, MS in psychology, social work or related clinical field Licensure:
Must have a valid and active LMHC or LCSW
Experience:
2 years in providing addiction services and/or community mental health.
