Responsibilities:
Meet and greet customers in a professional manner Operate switchboard telephone system Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold Provide basic information to callers who have general inquires Assist with various clerical duties as needed Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees Calculate the customer's bill using the dealership's computer system Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
Have every repair order signed by the customer at time of payment.
Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift Work with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered by the dealership and any changes in price Refer customers who have additional questions to management Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise and take or refer the complaining customer to the appropriate individual for further communication Process refunds to customers for approved returns REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail Ability to multi-task and handle several phone calls at once Must have at least a high school diploma/GED Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Professional personal appearance Must be willing to submit to a background check & drug screen

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
