The Medical Records Director plans, coordinates, directs and monitors the activities of the Medical Records Department in the timely recording of all medical records with the quality and thoroughness required to log every patient accurately.
Essential Job Functions:
Ensures that the patient is the number one priority and that the Medical Records Department supports this priority
Coordinates information for new facility set-ups
Creates facility monthly record templates in the QSI system or current Medical Records system
Oversees the ordering and inventory of forms used within the Medical Records Department
Assures that the department meets or exceeds the minimum standard for processing medical records
Develops and submits all required reports to the Business Development Manager within the prescribed guidelines and dates for submission
Directs the employees in the Medical Records Department in timely completion of assigned duties
Responsible for adequate staffing in the Medical Records Department and monitoring hours worked in the department
Responsible for the training and cross-training of all employees working in the Medical Records Department and those performing cross function within the department
Performs annual evaluations and improvement plans with Medical Record employees
Other responsibilities will be assigned as needed by the Business Development Manager
Requirements:
High School diploma
Certified Pharmacy Technician or Nurse
Technical training in the Pharmaceutical industry
Proficiency level in QS1 system
Minimum 5 years experience in medical records management and billing practices.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
